I missed you so much that I begged you to fly and see me
You must’ve broke down ‘cause you finally said that you would
But now that you’re here I just feel like I’m constantly dreaming
Well something’s gotta go wrong ‘cause I’m feeling way too damn good
Melony grabbed her bags off the luggage carousel
and made her way outside to hail a cab. It was freezing cold and the clouds were threatening to burst at any moment. She shivered
and hugged her arms around herself, as the taxi pulled up to the curb. The cab driver put her bags into the trunk and she
held on to the small shopping bag, that carried a special Christmas gift, for her lover. She slid into the backseat of the
cab and gave the driver the address of her destination. She was overly ecstatic to be in New York City. Well, it wasn’t
the city that had her feeling the way she did, she had been here many times before. However, the man that she was coming to
see, is what had her heart racing so. She pulled out her compact and ran the poof over her face. Applying a thin coat of lip
gloss, she smacked her lips. Satisfied that she was as sexy as she was going to get, she clicked the compact shut. She stared
out the window at the passing scenery. A light snow had begun to fall and Christmas lights lit up every inch, of the already
illuminating city. Only two days off, and she had spent the better part of the day in airports and on the plane. She was determined
to make every minute count, of the thirty-eight hours, they now had left. The cab came to a halt in front of the hotel. The
driver retrieved her bags and she paid the fare. She walked into the lobby and paused. Taking out her cell phone, she rechecked
the text message that he sent earlier. Room 323. She walked across the lobby, to the elevators. Once she stepped inside and
the doors closed, time seemed to move abnormally slow. Her body was already anticipating his touch. Aching inside, she longed
to feel his massive hands all over her body. She yearned to feel his body next to hers. The last time they were together was
pure, unadulterated, ecstasy.
For 48 hours I don’t think that we left my hotel room
Should show you the sights ‘cause I’m sure that I said I would
We gotta make love just one last time in the shower
Well something’s gotta go wrong ‘cause I’m feeling way too damn good
The elevator came to a stop, the doors opened
and Melony stepped out into the hallway. She smoothed a hand over her hair and readjusted her bags. She smiled softly at the
thought of the present she had for him. She hoped he would cherish it forever. Finding room 323, she knocked on the door.
The door opened wide and there he was, eyes sparkling with mischief. She sat her bags down inside the door and threw her arms
around his neck. She almost knocked him over, as she wrapped her legs around his waist. She buried her face into the side
of his neck, and left a trail of kissed all the way up to his ear. A moan escaped him, as he sat her back on the floor. He
cupped her face in his hands, and kissed her hungrily. His tongue meeting hers, he nipped her bottom lip gently, teasing her
slightly. Heat surged through him, as the desperation of needing to be inside her, engulfed him.
And it’s like
Every time I turn around
I fall in love and find my heart face down and
Where it lands is where it should
This time it’s like
The two of us should probably start to fight
‘Cause something’s gotta go wrong ‘cause I’m feeling way too damn good
Feelin way too damn good
They never broke the kiss, as they made their way
to the bed. Feverishly, they tore away their clothes. Exploring each other with hands, lips and tongues, they quickly made
up for lost time. They devoured each other, taking in every little detail of the other’s body. He kissed the freckle
on her taunt stomach and she traced her tongue over the small scar, on the small of his back. No spot went unnoticed or untouched.
The passion filled romp went on until they both had climaxed.
Sometime’s I think best if we left in the memory
It’s better kept inside than left for good
Looking back each time they tried to tell me
Well something’s gotta go wrong ‘cause I’m feelin’ way too damn good
They lay in blissful oblivion, a state of euphoria.
Outside the rain, mixed with snow fell harder. The wind lightly knocking on the window, as the two lovers cuddled closer together.
He cradled her head tenderly against his chest. Stroking her hair, he professed his undying love for her. She took in everything.
His soft spoken words, his cologne and the way he caressed her. They talked and snuggled, for what seemed like an eternity.
No words were profound enough to express their inner most feelings. Her heart was bursting with love for him. His love of
her, radiated through every touch, every action.
And it’s like
Every time I turn around
I fall in love and find my heart face down and
Where it lands is where it should
This time it’s like
The two if us should probably start to fight
‘Cause something’s gotta go wrong ‘cause I’m feeling way too damn good
Feelin’ way too damn good
After an emotional night of lovemaking, Mel awoke
to an empty bed. She called out to him but received no response. Looking around, still half asleep, she noticed the note on
the night stand.
*Good morning love of my life. Last night was unforgettable.
I ran out to pick up some breakfast. I’ll be back in a few. In the mean while, here is a token of my love for you. You
are my soul’s desire. What I’ve longed for all my life. My life has been set on fire, your love saved
me. You knew me and set my heart free. When you aren’t near, my heart cries for you. I see you in my dreams, as my lonely
heart, patiently waits for our next reunion. I
love you always, Kurt*
I missed you so much that I begged you to fly and see me
You must’ve broke down ‘cause you finally said that you would
But now that you’re here I just feel like I’m constantly dreaming
Well something’s gotta go wrong ‘cause I’m feelin’ way too damn good
Melony was in the shower when Kurt returned with
breakfast. Deciding that food could wait, he took off his clothes and slipped into the shower with her. Generating more heat
than the hot water, they got lost in each other. Their love was the kind you spent life looking for, and rarely found. It
was a true, genuine, everlasting love. They were soul mates, their worlds revolved around each other.
Wrapping themselves in the fluffy, white hotel
robes, they sat down to refuel, before Mel had to catch her flight back to Dallas. They enjoyed breakfast, the light conversation
and laughed about past escapades. They made plans for their next getaway, deciding that since they didn’t get a chance
to enjoy the snow this time, that they would meet in Boulder, Colorado in two weeks. Conflicting schedules limited their time
together, but they managed to keep their love strong. Together they could survive anything. Apart, they were lost. Melony
sipped her coffee, as she gazed into his piercing blue eyes. Mesmerized, she fought back tears. She got up and walked over
to the window. The snow was really coming down, it made the view even more beautiful. Kurt came up from behind and wrapped
his strong, masculine arms around her waist, and pulled her into nim. Their bodies molding together like pieces of a puzzle.
The room was silent, except for their panting breaths. Slowly they rocked back and forth, taking in the view and each other.
They were putting off the inevitable. He leaned down and gently nibbled her ear, sending a shockwave up her spine. She turned
and kissed him on his dimpled cheek. Walking over to the bed, she picked up the shopping bag and handed it to him. This would
be their Christmas exchange, since they would be working opposite coasts on the actual day. He pulled out a long, slim box
and opened it. Inside was a beautiful Rolex watch, before he could admire it fully, she reached over and turned it face down.
There was an inscription that read, "You are my heart and soul’s desire. My love always, Mel." Kurt’s eyes watered,
as he tried to contain his excitement and admiration. She was the most generous woman he had ever met. He wished he could
find the perfect words, or tokens, to express to her just how wonderful she truly was. He hugged her tight and thanked her
profusely for the gift. He went over to the night stand and pulled out a small jewelry box and handed it to her. He kissed
her lips and waited for her to open the box. She looked up into his eyes, and back at the box. She carefully pulled the lid
off. Inside was, the most beautiful, platinum snowflake necklace. Tears filled her eyes, and slowly spilled over. She clutched
the perfect snowflake in her hand and hugged Kurt as hard as she could. She kissed him with intensity and love. She pulled
up her hair, as Kurt put the necklace around her neck and fastened it. He planted a kiss on the tip of her nose and admired
the way the platinum reflected off her dewy, tan skin. Melony grabbed Kurt’s arm and brought it up to check the time
on his new watch. Sighing, they new the time had come. He reassured her that they had Colorado to look forward too and their
calls and emails would ease some of the loneliness. He put one arm around her shoulders and scooped up her bags. She wrapped
both arms around him not wanting to let go.

"Flight 1483 now boarding." She started to
board the plane, but couldn’t resist turning for one last glimpse of him. She smiled through the tears. He stood there,
hands in his pockets. His tall, muscular frame did nothing to protect his heart from breaking. He wanted to stop her and tell
her to stay, that they could give up wrestling forever. Buy a house on the beach and retire early. But he knew they both loved
their jobs too much to give them up entirely. He couldn’t wait for their trip to Colorado. That would be where their
relationship went to a new level. He planned to propose, and was actually on his way to pick up her engagement ring. She blew
him a kiss. He returned the kiss and gave her a smile, revealing both his dimples. He watched her until her silhouette faded.
He glanced at his watch and took off to the jewelry store.
The snow was really coming down now. Visibility
would be zero in a matter of hours. He parked his car and entered the jewelry store. The store owner and two other customers
were listening to the weather on the radio. The owner recognized him immediately and greeted him. Kurt pulled out his wallet,
as the man went to the back, to retrieve the custom made ring. Kurt held the ring between his thumb and finger and thought
about how perfect it would look on her finger. He couldn’t wait to give her the ring and a totally romantic proposal.
He had it all planned. They would rent a cabin and he would crack open some champagne. With a fire in the fireplace and candles
everywhere, he would take her hand and............"We interrupt now to bring you this news. Flight 1483 out of La Guardia
Airport has crashed. All one-hundred and seventy-four people on board are presumed dead."
